When is tech support available to me?
Please view our support page by clicking here for tech support hours, phone number, and email address.
What issues do you support?
Our support responsibility is to make sure the services you've contracted for (a connection or email) are functioning correctly. If you need advice on selecting a company to fix or repair your computer, please contact support at 519 326 8669 ext. 218. We know a number of companies who specialize in PC repair and highly advise their service.
Which Operating Systems do you support?
We support Windows 98 second edition/2000/NT/ME/XP/Vista; Macintosh OSX.
How do I set up my account?
We set you up in your home after we complete the installation. You may also call tech support at 519 326 8669 ext. 218 for a walk-through.
What kind of filtering software can I use for my computer?
There are several wonderful programs out there. One is CYBERsitter, which has been ranked as the number one agent by PC-Magazine "Editors' Choice" three times. Net Nanny is also a great tool and PC Magazine gives this agent 4 stars. Also available is Guardian Monitor 8.0, which monitors absolutely everything that happens, including chat, downloads and keystrokes.
Why are some sites still slow?
Every time you access a web site, a connection is established from your computer to the web server located somewhere on the Internet. Even though 3DG Wireless makes your Internet connection fast, 3DG Wireless cannot control sites on the Internet or the route to get to the web server. Some routes to some web servers are congested or the actual web server is overloaded.
Does 3DG Wireless internet provide a secure connection to the Internet?
Yes. 3DG Wireless uses 128-bit PPTP encryption software for security. In fact, it is the same software used by many security conscious networks including the U.S. Government.
Why am I unable to send email? I am receiving messages like:
553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed
    rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
    Relaying Denied

Our mail server currently does not allow relaying from hosts outside our network due to spammers and worms. This means, in order to send email to someone via our mail server, you must be connected to our network. The most common cause for the error messages above is that you are trying to send messages using our mail server while connected to a different ISP (dial-up, DSL, etc). You either need to:
  1. Connect to our network and continue using our mail server, or ...
  1. Contact the ISP you are connected through and use their mail server for sending mail.
If you are confident that you are connected through a 3DG Wireless connection, have verified (please click here to learn how how your connection has been verified) that your email is set up properly, and are continuing to receive the above error messages, please give us a call.
Why can't I access some webpages? Why is web access extremely slow?
You may be experiencing the side-effects from an improperly set MTU. Please click here for help with resolving this issue.
