3DG Wireless Email Support for Macintosh
Below are the basic variables that you need to setup your email application to send and receive e-mail from your 3DG Wireless email account.
3DG Wireless Email Settings
Mail Server Type POP3
Incoming mail server mail.3dgathome.com
Outgoing mail server mail.3dgathome.com
Email Address YOUR_USERNAME@3dgathome.com
User Name YOUR_USERNAME
Password YOUR_PASSWORD

Apple Mail
Please note that settings may be slightly different if you are modifying an existing account and also depending upon the version of Apple Mail you are using.
Open Apple Mail. If setting up mail for the first time, you will be prompted for your account details when you open the application and you can skip to step 3.
If you already have mail setup, you can add your 3DG Wireless account:
a. Select the Mail menu.
b. Select Preferences.
c. Click on the Accounts tab.
d. Click the + (plus) icon at the bottom of the accounts list to add a new account.

In the Account Window make the following settings:
Full Name: Enter your name.
Description: Only necessary if this account is in addition to an existing account. Enter the name for this account to differentiate this account from others.
Email Address: Enter your full email address, i.e. "jondoe@3dgathome.com".
Mail Server Type: Select "POP"
User Name: Enter the first part of your email address, i.e. "jondoe" if your email address is jondoe@3dgathome.com.
Password: Enter your password.
Outgoing Mail Server: Enter "mail.3dgathome.com"
Click OK (or close the window if you are creating an additionals account. Click Save if prompted.
